Saint Paul Teaching Fellows are people like you – recent graduates, engineers, lawyers, executives, community leaders, and retirees - who have decided to change their lives and teach in the classrooms that need teachers most. Apply today to be considered for this highly-selective network of dedicated educators. We have completed our application process for the 2008-2009 cohort, and are no longer accepting applications.

Please apply on October 27, 2008, when applications open for the 2009-2010 cohort.

Application Deadlines

We offer two application deadlines for the Teaching Fellows program. Because of the competitive nature of the Fellows program and the limited number of spaces, we recommend that candidates apply early.

FINAL Application Deadline

March, 10 2008. Applications will not be accepted for the 2008 cohort after this date.

Praxis I Registration and Date:
Please register for all three portions (reading, writing, math) of the Praxis I as soon as possible. The Praxis I is a computerized test and is offered on a daily basis.

Next Praxis II Registration Deadline:
March 27, 2008

Next Praxis II Late Registration Deadline*:
April 4, 2008

Next Praxis II Test Date:
April 26, 2008

Summer Institute Begins:
June 16, 2008

New Teachers Report to School:
Late August 2008 (Exact date TBD)

Students Report for First Day of School:
September 2, 2008 (TENTATIVE)
